About the colour...
Autumn Glow is an interpretation of the soft peach colour used in Edward John Poynter’s 1882 depiction of “Psyche in the Temple of Love”.
Painted in Victorian neo-classicism style which was based on Classical Greek and Roman art inspired by archaeological discoveries from Herculaneum and Pompeii.
Undertones of yellow and red are picked out to create a warm “glow”, whether on a piece of furniture or wall.
