About the colour...
Beau Blue is a charming white with a hint of blue, inspired by the fresco painting, hanging in the stairwell of Osborne House, of “Neptune Resigning The Empire of the Seas to Britannia” by William Dyce (1847). Commissioned by Prince Albert, the painting shows Neptune handing his crown to Britannia via Mercury.
